 Pangratis
Kadis was born in Nicosia, Cyprus on 24 October 1948. He studied
Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden,
Germany and he is Technical Director / Professional Consulting
Engineer, cooperating with several leading commercial and industrial
groups and other companies. Turnkey projects that Pangratis has
already completed include, among others, factories, plants and
workshops in the following sectors: Oil and Margarine, Forest and
Wood, Gypsum and Minerals, Heating and Air conditioning, Press and
Printing, etc.
Beyond his
professional knowledge and know how in the mechanical engineering
sector, Pangratis, who followed extended lessons and seminars in
sketching, painting, icon painting and sculpture in various art
schools in Cyprus and abroad, has developed a considerable number of
art work, including icons and statues, that are exhibited in a
number of private collections in both Cyprus and overseas. He is
also a self-teached, amateur musician, playing the traditional,
three-cord baglamas and bouzouki.
Pangratis is married
to Chloe, a professional architect and he has three children, Alexis
23, who studies Engineering in the United Kingdom, Vasso 20, who is
at the Medicine School, of the Athens University and Eleni 18, who
loves pets and animals and she plans to become soon, a Veterinary
Doctor.
